A Lamb is Born

I was lucky enough to pop into Bridgefoot Meadows this evening and was greeted by a cute, two hour old, lamb.  Mother and baby seem to be doing well, although I am not sure how this works, but the mother is white and the lamb is black - I'm sure there is a joke about that...

I love little surprises like this on a random walk with my dog Izzy.

All quiet after the storms

After the biggest rainfall all spring, the farm is peace and tranquillity.

1st Blog for Bridgefoot Meadows Hog Roasts

We had a great day today, at the 1st birthday bash for Kirdford Village Stores. The pig was one of our own, so cooked brilliantly.  Our friend Vicky, as usual, bagsied the ears for her dog and Archie (Alec's dog) devoured the tail in about 30 seconds.
